Summer Fun with R&E

Having Richard and Emily back in Utah has been one of THE best parts of our summer, and we've loved getting together with them on a regular basis.

 Emily is a stellar wife and surprised Richard with a half birthday party and invited us along! We ate at Cubby's and then went to The VOID. So fun!

We also enjoyed a date night at Lagoon. I seriously waited months for this night and it was a dream come true. Amusement parks are so my jam!!!

Draper Children's Parade

The week after the 4th was Draper Days and we walked in the Children's Parade with Kenzie, Millie, Ryan, Zuma, and Pi. Grandma & Grandpa & Lindsay were on the sidelines and walk with us at the end. Please notice my extra cheesy smile :)

4th of July 2017

Oh man, we all had such a great 4th of July this year! We packed it in from sunup to sundown. These holidays get better and better as the girls grow and understand more!

We started off the day with the Grand Parade in Provo. I brought the twins and met up with mom, dad, Richard, Emily, and their twins. Robbie brought Madelyn after she woke up from her nap, and we ended up meeting up with him as we walked back to our cars. He was a trooper and we missed him during the parade!

After naps, we met up with the Simons for some fun splash pad time:

To finish things off, we had a BBQ with the Beans and then headed back to Draper for a few fireworks with the girls before bed. We later found out we live in a restricted are for fireworks...oops...

Olivia loved it (especially the sparklers) and Kate is pretty terrified of any firework. Robbie bought a firework that he thought didn't make any noise, and instead it let out a huge scream and Kate was a gonner the rest of the night, haha. She'll step on pops and that's about it. Sweet girl. 

We Are Family

Robbie snagged this photo as the girls were both chanting "we are family!" They also say that whenever we hold hands to cross the road. Cracks me up. You better believe we're family, and couldn't be happier about that.

I Love Her

I love being this girl's mom! This is how you'll often find us on Sunday afternoons while the rest of the house sleeps. I love her.

Thanksgiving Point Farm

We had a blast with Grandma Bean at the Thanksgiving Point Farm as we said goodbye to the month of June (holy smokes, that went by fast). Kate & Olivia loved seeing the animals and loved getting to ride a pony. Heaven right there for those two. Kate was nervous at first to ride the pony, but as soon as I told her the name of her horse was "Moana" she settled right in.

Cabin Trip June 23-24

We love all of the memories we've made so far at the Simons cabin. It's the greatest escape into the mountains that's far enough from home to feel like you're getting away for a little vacay. Thankful for Bob & Dayna and all they do behind-the-scenes to make these trips possible.

Father's Day 2017

We are obsessed with this daddy of ours!! Enjoy this clearly posed photo. We love you, Robbie. You're so important to our family!

My parents hosted a Father's Day get together with the Bean side of the family and the girls had a blast with the Killpack cousins. My mind was blown as I watched these kids I used to babysit now playing with my own kids. Jon, Allie, and Kate humored the twins with so many rounds of ring around the rosy. They're such great kids. Family is everything, guys.

Morning Walks

When it isn't too hot in the mornings, the girls and love to take little walks along the top road in our neighborhood while Madelyn naps. On this particular morning, we timed our walk perfectly with the sprinklers and the girls loved, loved it.

Grandma's Sandbox
