Rob's Stitches

Rob had quite the fiasco with stiches this month. He climbing up one of the barstools on a Sunday afternoon and somehow slipped off and the barstool came down and got him pretty good on his head. Kenzie came over and watched the kids so I could drive Robbie and Rob over to InstaCare (literally just around the corner from our house). They numbed him up, gave him some stitches, and he was such a champ. Fast forward to the next Saturday night and it split right open again while Rob and Robbie were playing. Poor kid. Robbie took him to a different InstaCare because it was so late, and they put some deeper stiches in to help it stay closed. I don't think he even shed one tear that second time. He had 4 moms at home doting on him and healed up well! I'm super thankful for a husband that is good at handling this kind of stuff, and for our brave little guy.

Madelyn's COPA Performances

Madelyn started taking a dance class and an MDT class from Utah COPA last fall and had her performances this month down at the Covey Center in Provo. Her baker costume is from her dance class with Ms. Jen, and her sponge bob costume is from her MDT class with Ms. Danielle. She has loved being in class with Aria Morgan and Ava Reeves from our previous neighborhood. She was super nervous to perform, so we are so dang proud of her for practicing her bravery and getting up on that stage (donuts and flowers after definitely helped motivate). Love her so much!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Rob!

Happy Birthday yesterday to our favorite buddy! This kid brings us so much joy, what a blessing he is! For his birthday, he got more cars for his track, a new Little Blue Truck book, and a new Daniel Tiger toothbrush. He ate pancakes and mac 'n cheese and was pretty easy to please.

Kate & Olivia Turn 6!

Happy Birthday to our twinners! Their actual birthday fell on a Sunday, so on Saturday night we surprised them with an invite to their own party. We had a dance party with glowsticks and played pin the horn on the unicorn...a hit for every 4-6 year old girl out there! We gifted them some little LOL dolls and gave Kate a comic book and Olivia a Mermaid coloring book. We had G&G Bean over for dinner that night (homemade cafe rio essentially) and then G&G Simons over for dinner Sunday night (Papa Murphy's pizza and a donut cake). These girls are so loved. They are good and kind and sweet. They set a beautiful example for their siblings and I'm so grateful they're ours!
