Friday: Robbie and I secretly planned a trip to Seattle to visit his parents on their mission and woke the kids up at 6:00 am to tell them. We woke the four oldest up, brought their sleepy bodies to the family room, and told them where we were headed. They were so out of it, but eventually it clicked and everyone was super excited!! Our flight was delayed a bit, but the kids were troopers and we made it! Bob & Dayna met us at our Airbnb and it was so cute to watch the kids stare out the window in anticipation. It was a sweet, sweet reunion and so good to give hugs and loves all around. We miss them so much! We visited for a while and ended the night at Zeek's pizza.

Saturday: After breakfast, we took the kids to G&G's "tiny house". They played legos and read stories and loved seeing where their grandparents live. Then we headed to the Downtown Park and played their for a while. It was pretty chilly, but the kids ran around and stayed warm.
After the park, we ate lunch at Cafe Rio, then went back to our place for naps and quiet time. After the littles were up, we went back to the tiny house and hung out there. It's just so nice being with them, it didn't matter what we were doing. Dayna made chicken enchilada casserole, which we devoured, and then Bob & Dayna read some bedtime stories to the kids before calling it a night.

Sunday: We met Bob & Dayna at the mission office so they could give us a tour and so we could attend church with them. It was so wonderful to sit next to them. They kept the three girls for Primary while Robbie and I napped the littles back at the Airbnb and packed all of our stuff up. After naps, we went to their apartment for grilled cheese sandwiches and goodbyes, but not before the kids got some more stories in :) This was such a special trip for us, especially the kids. We love these sweet grandparents and can't wait to see them again. Their example means the world to all of us.
