St. George Girl's Trip

I got to meet up with my favorite college roommates for a girl's weekend in St. George and we just had the best time. These girls are absolute gold--Michelle Wilson, Lisa Bowen, Ashlyn Bearnson. We stayed at Erik's parent's home and packed in as much fun and relaxation as we could. These girls help me be better and we just support and love each other in all the best ways. Love them!

Our weekend included pickleball, nails, swimming, farmer's market, jewelry making, bike ride in Snow Canyon, and then finishing it off seeing David Archuleta perform in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Tuacahn theater. We talked and laughed for hours and left feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on life again.

First Day of School!

It's back to school time! Kate and Olivia are in 2nd grade, and Madelyn is joining them at Willow Springs this year! Yay for our sweet Kindergartener. We had a fun back to school dinner where each person was assigned someone else to write a good luck note to for the upcoming school year. We have a good feeling about this year. Go, girls, go!

 

Seattle Trip #2

We traveled for our second and final visit as a family to Bob & Dayna on their mission before they come home next month! We loved every minute with them!

Thursday: traveled and once we were there, met them at Cafe Rio for dinner. Some very kind firefighters let us see their firetruck after dinner! Definitely a highlight for Rob.

Friday: ferry ride to Bainbridge Island where we went collected sea shells and hunted for crabs,  shopped in a few stores and ate lunch; played at the park and walked through the forest to the temple grounds.

Saturday: Ballard Locks and Salmon Ladder, Chism Beach for lunch, Legos, and goodbyes!

See you next month!!! No pictures of our travel day Sunday because we missed our flight and it was awful and stressful. But we made it back and have so many good memories from this trip!
