Beth's Baby Blessing

This morning was one of those perfect mornings. Robbie gave Beth a beautiful blessing with both of our dads and Bishop Crittenden. It was peaceful and quiet and such a sweet experience. This little lady is loved beyond measure and we're so thankful for the support our parents give us day in and day out. They mean the world to our family! We love you, Beth!

Stairs Gulch Hike

Robbie and I snuck away on a date up to the mountains yesterday to see the leaves, and boy did they deliver. It was gorgeous. We did the Stairs Gulch hike and up went up for about 30 minutes and then turned around. The waterfall was beautiful and the air was crisp. It was a perfect fall day. To top it off, we hit up Ballard's Iceberg on 12300 S. on the way back! Love this cute guy.

Gardner Village with Grandma Bean

We took our annual trip up to Gardner Village with Grandma Bean on Thursday and it was wonderful! The weather was dreamy and the kids loved the ducks, witches, and caramel apples. We love this tradition!

Peach Compote

My mom came this week and helped me peel peaches for peach compote. I love having someone to work with and keep me company while I'm in the kitchen. This is one of our favorite peach recipes and we'll enjoy it for the next 9 months!

Beth's Newborn Photos

My cousin, Heidi, came and took some newborn photos of Beth this week. Beth is 6 weeks old and here are some of our favorites! We love this girlie so much.

Madelyn's First Day of Dance

Madelyn started her first day of dance at Utah COPA. She has a dance class first with Ms. Jen and then an MDT class with Ms. Danielle. She was so excited and brave when I dropped her off!

Silver Lake

We spent a lovely afternoon in the mountains yesterday walking around Silver Lake. We try to make it up there at least once a year, and each time we go it feels like we have more kids, haha! It was a bit of a circus, as usual, but that's the definition of an adventure and we're up for it!! We saw a few moose, which was fun, and the kids loved the ducks. The mountains do good things for my soul and I hope the kids learn to love it there like Robbie and I do.

School Shopping and First Day of Kindergarten

I took the girls school shopping for Kindergarten and we had the best time! There's nothing like fresh clothes and school supplies to start out the year.
The twins were over the moon excited for their first day of school. They had met their teacher, Miss M (Kelsey Manglinong) the previous week and had seen their classroom. We got there and Kate ran to her line without even looking back. Olivia was a little bit more apprehensive and got teary standing there. I don't blame her, there were tons of parents with their phones out staring at all the kids. It would have felt like a lot to me, haha. I walked her up to her teacher and she did great. She's shed some tears since and needs me each day to help her to the door, but I'm so proud of her bravery and am happy to help her as long as she needs me. What a wild ride to have them home all day for 6 years and all of the sudden hand them off to someone else's care. Deep breaths, mama. Cheering these girls on forever!!
