Our Bethy girl turned ONE this week and it sure has been a happy celebration. We had G&G Bean over for Cafe Rio and fruit pizzas; we loved celebrating Beth with them. They gifted her applesauce pouches and some adorable outfits. G&G Simons also sent a package of clothes for her too (we miss them!). Beth is so very loved. She is fiesty and silly and happy as can be. We all adore her and count her as one of our greatest blessings!

EFRW
Beth and I drove up with my mom and Emily last weekend to attend EFRW with the Rays (Especially For Ray Women). Beth was a great travel buddy and slept a whole 20 minutes on the way up :) I loved having her with me and sharing her with other family members who instantly loved her. We stayed at the Shaw's home and rode bikes to a restaurant that first night we were there. We spent all day Friday at Shera's barn and then had a game night back at the Shaw's Friday night. Saturday was spent at Shera's again and then we headed home shortly after lunch. It was so nice to hug everyone and catch up and hear such uplifting messages. These women are full of so much love and wisdom and I came away inspired to love more like they do and love more like God does.

Potty Training Rob
We spent the last couple weeks potty training Rob and, let me tell ya, this kid was a champ! He did SO well and I was way more relaxed with this being the 3rd time around. Everyone had a better experience :) I did some good prep before and based everything off of a course I took from a psychologist I follow on Instagram (Dr. Becky), and it really went as smoothly as it could have. Proud of this boy!

Princesses & Pirates Camp
Kate, Olivia, and Madelyn went to a Princesses and Pirates Camp with Utah COPA every morning last week, and it ended with a little performance on Friday for parents and grandparents. They got to do it with their sweet friends, Ruby & Eliza Peterson. And their friend from the ward, Penny Pearson, was also there too. These girls had such a great experience and I'm so glad they could share it all together. Olivia and Kate acted like they were born for the stage when it came to the performance. They had so much confidence and waved to us and smiled the whole time. Sweet Madelyn's nerves got to her so she danced in the back next to her teacher. I'm so proud of her for doing a hard thing. Love these princesses.

Swimming at the Goff's
The Goffs invited all of the Simons over to swim and have dinner last night. We loved being with them, and it made us miss Bob & Dayna even more. The kids made more progress being comfortable in the pool in the 3 hours we were there than all of the swimming lessons we did, ha! It was really good for them. We are so thankful for our friendship with Shawn and Chari and their girls!

4th of July Festivities
The 4th of July fell on a Sunday this year, so we did most of our celebrating the next day on Monday. We met Grandma & Grandpa Bean and Uncle Dave in Provo where they scouted out an awesome spot for us to watch the parade (thanks, mom!). We had donuts and grapes and apples, and the kids were in heaven...well, mostly. Those loud noises can be a doozy!
G&G and Dave joined us in the afternoon for dinner (5 Guys), homemade chocolate ice cream, and a few fireworks for the kids. Robbie also grabbed the Hummer from work and took it for a spin around the block a few times. It was a great day!
