Coronado Island

Robbie and I snuck away for a couple days to California last weekend and stayed at the Marriott on Coronado Island. It was a very much needed break for both of us and we soaked in every. single. minute. We loved being together and loved that our cuties got time with Grandma Bean. She made this trip possible and we're so thankful! We laughed hard, played hard. No stress. Nothing to do. No rush. Sleep in. No clean up. No preparing meals. Uninterrupted time with each other. THE BEST. Having said that, the kids would have loved this trip and we missed our sweeties.

Highlights include:
-bike ride along the Coronado Bay
-breakfast buffet each morning at the hotel
-eating out at Miguel's Cocina, Nonna's (pizza was YUM)
-grocery store run for snackies
-walking along the beach
-couples massage
-Robbie driving the Camero
-Early morning on the balcony watching the sun rise while Robbie kept snoozing.

Rachel's Septoplasty

I had surgery done to fix my deviated septum last month and it feels so great to be on the other side of it all. Dr. Bennett said I had lost about 70% of airflow on my left side and while he was up there, he found a bone spur that he removed. So we're really glad we got it taken care of. The weekend was the hardest part with the nose splints in, but once those came out things got so much easier.

Sweet notes from the girls taped on the wall next to my bed.

Sweet flowers from Lynette Jeans in our ward who had this surgery done too years ago.

Yummy bread from Kenzie.

My parents took the girls Sunday to visit Great Grandma Bean and to see the lot where the new Lindon Utah Temple will be built!

Right after I got the splints out. I felt like a new woman!!
