Simons Cabin Family Reunion 2019

We spent the loveliest weekend up at the cabin for our annual Simons Family Reunion Highlights this year include: a day at the lake (Jordanelle Reservoir), talent show, mule rides, snow cones, glow sticks, necklace making, story time each night, movie snuggles, nature hike, pinata, and lots and lots of cousin time. We always love being up in the beautiful mountains with these people we love so much! Bob & Dayna put in a lot of time and energy and love to gather us all together. We're so thankful to make these lasting memories!

Swimming Lesson K&O

Kate and Olivia had their first round year of swimming lessons this summer towards the end of July! They were super excited. I loved watching them conquer fears and enjoy the water. Olivia was more comfortable in the water than Kate was, but Kate grew and learned so much. Proud of my sweeties! It was fun having my mom tag along one of the days. The girls loved seeing grandma cheering for them, and it was super nice to take Madelyn to the potty without having to bring Rob and the stroller, ha! We knew the girls would have the opportunity to do the slide and deep end/diving board on the last day, so we talked it up major and they were both feeling good about it. We got to the day and they both were having none of it. I basically forced Kate into her teacher's arms in the deep end and she ended up liking it...mostly. Overall they had a great experience and are excited to do it again next year.
